I'm really disapointed - I tried to play the concert on Hearts & Bones but nothing happened. It says Playing Now but nothing ever happens. I fear I may not have the appropriate software to watch the videos. I'm afraid to go downloading anything, even if it is free, since I am in an internet cafe. |

Hi Kathy,
Thank you for the "Italian link ", I read this yesterday and
I downloaded this link, but when I tried to play it I only heard the sound and could'nt see anything.(Windows Media Player)
But thanks to Oliver who said that there is a link for the
VLC Media Player, I installed this one and YES!!! it worked!!
Only it is somewhat dark and the sound is less than on Windows, but who cares!!
So thanks to the both of you!!

What a night!I'm 21 yrs old and I've been in Rome to see this wonderful event.Art is definitely become my all time favourite singer.The sonsg were very good even if I The only livng boy in the studio version.I flew from Milan just to see this amazing night!I'll always remember that night!I was blown away by the people but mainly by Paul and Artie. |

The special you're talking about is an Italian special and that's really crap.It features 30 seconds of Old Friends and some seconds of other songs from another concert and not the Rome one.The music is often stopped by stupid and ridicolus interview at stupid and ridicolous italian musical journalists. |

this special features the Madison Square Garden Shows ... I like that special because it shows how we ran down the securities and sprinted to the stage ... IMO it´s a pretty nice memory. |

thanks Jean! I truly love that picture his smile and his eyes, that goes right into the heart. "One Less Holiday" ... is in my opinion an underrated song, but this one fits as best to this pic and it shows Artie range of voice. Soon you will hear one special song of each album, I´m still working on this. |

This must have been an awesome experience. I can feel the enthusiasm and excitement there just listening to it. Paul and Art seemed to have great fun. The audience were really into it, singing and clapping along to so many of the songs, SOS, Mrs. Robinson, Slip Sliding Away, El Condor Pasa, Celia, The Boxer.... I particularly like the part after the Boxer where the audience started to sing la la la and clap so in sync together for well over a minute. It would be nice to see their expression to that. I can sense Paul laughing while launching into "Leaves That Are Green" after that. I hope they put some footage of this concert to the tour DVD. What a nice way to end their tour. |

yeah it was such an event .. especially I liked the part after The Boxer, when finally everybody sang "lielalie". On the cd´s now it sounds like "lalala" (hhhm funny) ... right after The Boxer, they went off stage and we started to sing, when they came back they hugged each other and stood smiling in the middle of the stage and just gazing in the audience ... I could nearly feel how proud they were. IMO they didn´t had that much fun, they had in Munich ... maybe they were a little nervous because of such a crowd and nervous to do everything perfect. |

As Kathie 4 Nicole says the moment at the end of The Boxer was magic.600000 persons singing along the chorus!I think thatìs been a wonderful moment for Paul as a songwriter.I was shivering and for all the show I had a printed-smile on my face. |

I'm 16, from Cuneo, Piedmont... I went to the concert with a friend and her dad, and there we met with another friend, her boy and her parents, and also with another couple of buddies in wihch house we slept a couple of hours the morning after the concert...!
Wow, that was really an EVENT... really incredible! And I felt so much in the mood, I felt like I was attending a very hippie festival in the 60s... lovely!!! |

I share Valy´s opinion sometimes in the future it will be the time of ours to be on the DVD. I´m absolutely sure they recorded the show ... so any time it will be released. Meanwhile we have the great italian Special, although I don´t understand any Italian ... I love it, it´s exactly how it was - the run down.
I´m a skywriter I can´t forget you yet for whatever that it´s worth and sometimes I think I´m never coming back to earth

Yeah Marco, you're right! In fact, they didn't show much images from Rome because there was [is, I hope!] the project of a DVD of the whole concert!!! Or at least, that's what I read on newspapers... !

I had this thought: if "Old Friends live on stage" has been published more or less a year after the concert [December 2003], it could be that the DVD of the concert in Rome is gonna be published during Summer 2005...!
Maybe this is a silly ipothese, but... I really hope someday it'll be in shops!
