How can that many tickets be sold already?  Seems like you don't get a chance to buy tickets right up front.

Yeah and how are these places getting Art's concert listings before we have them posted on this forum?   Joan, do you or Renie have Art's 2010 concert schedule yet?

New shows will be posted in the 'concerts' section as soon as Renie has confirmation from Art's management.
This is just info I found on the Net.

If you see a place you can get to, call them immediately!!! I think I got my tickets
like 8 months ahead of time and I expected them not to be on sale, but then they
send you tickets sometime, you never know when and you're lucky if you can find
them, at least I was, I lose things so easily.

We're not to add concerts until they are confirmed which means all paperwork/contracts are done.  Many venues post anyway as soon as they know shows are being negotiated.  That's why we are always behind in posting.

So the venues are selling tickets before the paperwork is finalised?

I looked at the theatre in New Jersey.  Just about all the orchestra seats are sold and all the seats right up front are sold.  So how do you get the tickets right up front?

I just looked and there is still a front row seat for 62.00. Go back to the site and look again. There are also some on the sides near the front that look good, too.

WooooooooooooHoooooooooooo.  I'm going to Art's concert in Salina, KS in November.  We'll fly in to Witchita, KS and drive to Salina.  Only about 90 miles.  I am so excited.  My first time to see him.  And I got floor tickets in row E so they are pretty good tickets.  Just lucked out.

Congratulations Kay Lynn-the one Art concert I attended was in a small theater and it was so friendly-sort of like a neighborhood party and Art seemed to fill the room.

Thanks guys.  My boss thinks I've lost it.  Me and my husband are flying down on Saturday, concert Sunday, fly home Monday.  Quick trip but well worth it.

Right, so if S&G are going to do concerts in America / Europe, they have until January to do it ?

Since this was essentially the same concert they performed 6 years ago in the states, I very much doubt they will repeat it this year.  Sorry, but that's my .02 worth.

What do you mean the same concert? What was all the surprises, new monologues,
anyone know what they talked about. I'm sure fans all over the world would have
heard the 2003 DVD.

I would love to but that's a bad time in our office to be away.  Year end and prepare for auditors.  I've looked in to tickets and flights and the price isn't real bad.  I would love to do the meet and greet for $200.00.

Knowing how much he "enjoys" such things I am surprised they are scheduling one.

He has a concert in San Bernadino, CA in January.  They are selling tickets for a reception prior to the concert to meet the band and hopefully Art.  And also they are prime seats for the concert.

Meet and greets are usually after an artist has performed. Art has said he doesn't even answer his phone before a concert in case it disturbs him.

Oh so you go and guess, well better than unconfirmed reports. But of course
neither Paul nor Art has a liking for the great lakes region, I don't blame them, i'd
love to get out of here.

I don't know what you have to whine about.  By my count, Art has appeared 17 times in the mid-west in the past 5 years including Athens, Dayton, Newark and Cincinnati Ohio.  So, I'll whine. The last time he was in the Pacific NW was in 2002 and again in 2003 with Paul.  Otherwise the closest he's been is Reno in 2007.

I'm sorry Judith, but I never re discovered them until 2008, I never knew they
broke up in 1970. Thanks to that little cassette I decided to play. I am upset that I
missed so much. Yes I know they were in Cincinnati on the Old Friends tour and I
keep a little journal and wondered where I was that day. I was in NYC of all
places. I could shoot myself, but then the best I can do is try to find some missing
DVD's that I would love to have. I can't believe how these two guys have sparkled
up my life.
